Located at 242 Princess St, Wilmington, NC 28401, Little Olive Co. operates as a specialty food store serving Wilmington in North Carolina. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Wilmington with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in North Carolina may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.
Hours are published for 4 days a week. The most common schedule is 11 amβ5:30 pm. It is closed on Monday, Tuesday, Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Little Olive Co. at (910) 228-5225; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Wilmington is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Wilmington follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Ten dear friends celebrated a 60th birthday with Chef Lora leading us in her homemade Pasta and Pomodoro Sauce class! Both she and the food were outstanding! We all left with a jar of tangerine and chili olives (unbelievably delicious) and a bottle of Sicilian lemon balsamic which we enjoyed with evoo and Chef Loraβs fresh baked bread. Canβt wait to take another class and a sincere thanks for the lovely evening!!

First time taking a cooking class - and it will not be my last! Wasn't quite sure what to expect, but Lora was organized, well prepared with supplies and stories, a terrific instructor with a great sense of humor and fun! The pasta was delicious! So many olive oils to test and try... already planning another visit.

We had such a an amazing cooking class with Chef David of 86 Hunger Now!! We started off with some amazing olive oils and balsamic with bread before we prepared our authentic Caesar salad... I literally interrupted the chef to tell him it was the best dang salad I had ever eaten and questioned why it was so much better and looked different than most commercial dressings. You should definitely take the class to find the answer!! Then we made homemade spaghetti pasta with very simple ingredients and rolled the dough out and put it through a pasta press a few times to flatten and cut - then right into boiling water. While the noodles were boiling the chef was making an olive oil based sauce for the noodles. All in all we didn't have too much to eat but we were so full and satisfied... We were definitely confused how we got so full so quickly lol! The class was very entertaining and delicious. We will definitely be back! We got some extra goodies to go like maple balsamic and truffle oil!!! Also, be sure to pick up a bottle of wine next door from The Vine for a discount when heading next door to the cooking class!

We found out about their cooking classes and decided to give one a try and it was so much fun!! We learned how to make an authentic Caesar salad and dressing with homemade pasta. This was a 2 hour class and byob. It made for the perfect date night and we look forward to making this dish at home. I got some olive oil and balsamic to take home. They have over 20 to choose from and sample.
